Hello, I am a mid 30s female, currently pregnant with a few very well controlled items on my medical history (ventricular septal defect, no surgical intervention required and very small, follow with cards for monitoring; epilepsy with 1 life time seizure 10 years ago, an ovarian cyst that was removed and benign, and an incidental variant of my SMA artery picked up after GI scope for now resolved GERD). Never smoker, stopped drinking, have had borderline BP this pregnancy.

I got denied from the first company without reasoning, my broker (policygenius) said she wasn't given a reason why. I applied for a second company today who asked about family history which is unexciting (HTN) except for my mother passing at age 40 unexpectedly without ever having a clear reason on autopsy. I am now fearful I am going to be denied again, which is in part WHY I feel so strongly about being insured before having kids.

Is there any hope for me? I am a physician so I actually wrote a lot in the provided explanation areas on my app. I had an OB incorrectly label my SMA variant as SMA syndrome (which is a horrible condition that means you can't eat/drink at all, I certainly do not have this) which was removed from my chart today.
