Help! Insurance company thinks I’m an opioid user and I’m getting screwed!

I’m a healthcare professional and a while back I self-prescribed myself Narcan (a nasal spray that can reverse opioid overdose) to have in my emergency kit in my car. I’m also a mom and after hearing countless overdose stories – even accidental ones of kids getting into things at parks, I figured I could maybe save a life one day.

Fast forward my husband and I finally started applying for life insurance, something we’ve been meaning to do since we became parents. We are both in our early thirties and both healthy but my husband recently was diagnosed with borderline high cholesterol – no meds.

Anyways filled out all the health questionnaires and I get a follow up email that they need more information about my Narcan prescription they see on some report. Had totally forgotten about it… my husband gets back his quote and mine takes several more days saying needs more processing time.

Then I get mine back and it’s basically double what his is!

Am I totally screwed and uninsurable because of that dumb prescription? I was just trying to be a Good Samaritan…

Any advice appreciated.
