Envestnet and Salesforce announced a new partnership on Monday aimed at delivering a “connected and seamless” planning experience for financial advisors and their clients.

Through the partnership, advisors using the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud will benefit from a unified platform experience across multiple systems and applications, brought together in a way that addresses the historical lack of data parity between customer relationship management technology and financial planning platforms, according to the firms.

The collaboration will also give advisors using Salesforce FSC direct access to the MoneyGuide planning program within their central CRM platform, according to the firms’ announcement. Eran Agrios, general manager of financial services for Salesforce, said this approach will help to unify customer behavioral and financial data across an advisor’s practice, while simplifying advisor team collaboration with a single source for all financial planning-related activities.

“Our partnership with Envestnet is driven by a shared goal: to deliver innovative solutions that streamline the financial planning process and empower wealth advisors to be more productive,” Agrios said.
