BrokerLink Expands Again With Three Acquisitions in Ontario and Alberta

BrokerLink continues to grow with three more acquisitions in Ontario and Atlantic Canada

Toronto, ON (Nov. 4, 2022) – BrokerLink continues to grow in Ontario and Alberta with the acquisition of Ontario-based D. G. Smith Insurance Brokers (D. G. Smith Insurance), Teck Insurance Brokers Limited (Teck Insurance) and Alberta-based Robinson Insurance Centre (Robinson Insurance), all of which closed November 1.

All three acquisitions enable BrokerLink to contribute to additional communities and offer insurance solutions tailored to meet the needs of new and existing customers.

D. G. Smith Insurance, based in Uxbridge, Southern Ontario

Established in 1981, D. G. Smith Insurance has offered a wide range of product options, including home, auto, business and farm insurance. The D. G. Smith Insurance team believes in supporting local families by offering more than just insurance and has been actively involved in the Uxbridge community. Employees will continue to serve their local community as part of BrokerLink.

Teck Insurance, located in Kirkland Lake, Northern Ontario

Since 1964, Teck Insurance has served Kirkland Lake and its neighbouring communities, from Temiskaming Shores to Timmins, finding the best insurance coverage to meet the specific needs of their customers in their northern surroundings.
