I’m a 26 Female with one health condition (fibromyalgia), but healthy besides that. Currently no children or spouse. I’m starting to look at life insurance policies but feel so confused and lost. There’s so much information out there that it’s overwhelming and I don’t know where to begin.

Any tips or advice on where to start, who to talk to, basic information on term/whole/permanent?

Because I’m young and still healthy, I’d like to enroll in a life insurance policy now while my payments will be cheaper. I’m nervous about term because payments increase with age (i think?). I’m fine with a higher monthly payment as I am financially stable, but want it to be investment then for when I do have children and kids. If that’s the case, is whole better? Any recommendations for companies?

Honestly, any advice or tips to help would be great. I’m nervous to call an agency and get taken advantage of/scammed into something not worth it. Thank you in advance!
