Am i need for a long battle ?

My father took out a life insurance claim many years ago with Prudental that was going to be running up in June of 2026. He took out a large life insurance policy when he was younger incase anything happen to him while we were still young. Well back in 2018 my father was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and on may 14th on this year he passed away on hospice. my mother was taken off the policy as a beneficiary in 2023 when she abandoned my sick father and us to join a cult and divorce him. since he has passed it have been many waves of emotions and stresses. me and my brother filed everything for the life claim about 3 weeks ago and tomorrow is the LAST day of the claims payout window that prudental quoted us. My first question would be is it normal for life insurance companies to take this long for large claims ? secondly should i be worried that the money will not come in tomorrow and if so what do i do then ? I called them yesterday and they have assured me that everything is in order and pay out will be on time but i hate it when things come down to the last day like this. i just fought an intense divorce on my father's behalf for a year and i'm pretty conditioned now to things not going as planed. any advice?
