Reinsurance Group of America — a Chesterfield, Missouri-based life and health reinsurer — has hired Ray Kleeman to be executive vice president and chief human resources officer.
Kleeman is succeeding Gay Burns, who is retiring.
Kleeman has been senior vice president of human resources at Centene, a health insurer.
Before that, he worked in human resources at Monsanto, which is now part of Bayer.
He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and a doctorate in psychology from St. Louis University. He serves on the board of the St. Louis Community College Foundation and the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis.
Pacific Life
Pacific Life — a Newport Beach, California-based life and annuity issuer — has hired Susan Ghalili to be senior vice president and chief underwriter for life insurance.
She previously was the chief underwriter at John Hancock Financial.
