Companies on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list grew at a median 208% rate over three years, and generated 874,940 jobs and $317 billion in revenue.

The list of the fastest-growth companies in the United States includes 294 financial services firms, which grew by a median 216% rate and added 20,200 jobs.

Companies on the 2024 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2020 through 2023.

In order to be included, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2020. They also must be based in the United States, privately held, for profit and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of Dec. 31, 2023. 

The minimum revenue required for 2020 is $100,000, and for 2023 it is $2 million. Inc. researchers calculated the growth rates to four decimal places to come up with the final rankings.
