You don’t have to be a football fan to know that one of the biggest sporting events in the country takes place this Sunday, when the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs will face off in Super Bowl LVII at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. This is the fourth time that the greater Phoenix area has hosted the game.

For the uninitiated, the Chiefs have played in the Super Bowl four times — winning twice, against the Minnesota Vikings in 1970 and against the San Francisco 49ers in 2020. In three previous appearances, the Eagles lost twice before beating the New England Patriots in 2017.

And to answer another common question, Rihanna will headline this year’s halftime show. The singer, who has won multiple Grammy and Billboard awards, is also a 2023 Academy Award nominee for Best Original Song.

Part of the fun surrounding the Super Bowl is to pore over stats of the current game and games past, and ThinkAdvisor has again joined in.
