You Can Buy Joe Biden’s Custom-Ordered Cadillac ATS-V

Whether you like Joe Biden or not, you can’t deny the man seems to be a car guy. His love of Corvettes is famous, but apparently that’s not the only thing he’s interested in driving. It turns out that the President also has a thing for custom Cadillacs.

Not just any Cadillacs either, as Biden personally spec’d and drove a 2018 ATS-V. Now, for the right price, the one he owned can be yours as it’s currently listed on auction site Cars & Bids.

The description for the car says that this ATS-V was personally ordered, customized and leased by Biden himself. And while there are no outlandish modifications on the exterior, the custom work is all about that interior.

Biden ordered this ATS-V with a Black Raven exterior paired with a Kona Brown interior, making this ATS-V a one-of-one as Kona Brown wasn’t offered on the ATS-V — though you could get it on the regular ATS.

Other than that it’s a standard ATS-V, which means it’s a fantastic sport sedan that deserves to be driven and just not garaged because it belonged to the President. But its previous owners might not have thought that, as it has covered just 15,900 miles

Under the hood lies a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 that produces 464 horsepower. It’s paired with an eight-speed automatic as well as GM’s excellent Magnetic Ride Control and Brembo brakes at each corner. The only modifications to the car listed by the seller are front grille and rear bumper trim from Rennick Performance, suede microfiber steering wheel and shift knob, black emblems, tinted windows and a set of excellent 18-inch bronze wheels taken from a CT4-V Blackwing. You have excellent taste, Mr President.

Not everything about this ATS-V is flawless though. The Carfax report lists that the car sustained minor front and rear damage in April 2020 and then more minor damage in June 2023. Because of this, the front bumper was touched up and new rear bumper trim was installed in May 2020, before a touch-up was needed again in the summer of 2023.

If you find yourself wanting to own a piece of automotive history, there’s currently just over two days left on the auction. And just so you know it’s the real deal, the winning bidder will get copies of documents and email communications between Biden and Cadillac executives showing that this car was spec’d just for him. On top of that, the car’s window sticker was even signed by Biden himself.

Regardless of all that, this is a great looking car that someone should bid on because it deserves to be driven. So open your wallets people.
