The cheapest new car you can buy in America right now is the Mitsubishi Mirage, which comes in at a cool $18,000. That’s a very different question, as everyone has different demands and requirements for their cars. So today that’s what we’re asking you about, we want to know what the cheapest car you could actually live with is. So, what have you got?

You could be of the opinion that the most car you need for the least money is some kind of truck, as it offers up oodles of practicality, room for all your outdoorsy kit and shows everyone in your neighborhood that you’re a true American hero. Or if you’d rather walk everywhere than drive a second hand car, something with sky-high discounts, tax breaks and cheap running costs could fit the bill better. Then, might I suggest you try a Fisker Ocean? You might actually be able to pick up a car and the company’s remaining inventory of spare parts for a bargain price this week.
