What Car Would You Turn Into A Wagon?

As car enthusiasts, we’re hard-wired to love a wagon. They just bring that perfect blend of practicality, good driving dynamics (since they’re based on cars) and solid looks. You can’t say a long roof doesn’t make most cars look better. Unfortunately, wagons are pretty hard to come by, especially here in America. That’s what has led me to today’s question.

I want to know what car you would turn into a wagon. What sedan (or coupe, I’m not a hard-ass) would be infinitely better if it had a bigger trunk and a longer roof? Hell, I’ll even extend this to wagons that are available overseas that we don’t get here (looking at you, 3 Series and C-Class estates). I’m just that nice of a guy.

Obviously, I’ve got a couple of examples in mind just to get your AOTD juices flowing. The first that comes to mind for me is an Alfa Romeo Giulia wagon. To me, it’s already the best-looking sedan on the market, so odds are a long-roof version of it would look equally – if not more – brilliant. Another example is inspired by a car I just drove: the Bentley Continental GT Speed. Now, I can’t tell you too much about the car yet, but just imagine a 771-horsepower two-door shooting brake Bentley. That’s the stuff dreams are made out of, amigo.

Anyway, those two are enough excellent examples from me. It’s your turn now. Why don’t you drop down below and let us know what cars you’d give the wagon treatment to? I believe in you all.
