What Car Would You Buy Today To Flip In 25 Years?

Our own Lawrence Hodge has been complaining about prices on Radwood-era cars lately and frankly, I think he’s just getting old-man cranky. Seeing cars that your middle school friends’ mom drove going for classic car prices is like hearing your favorite song at the grocery store; it’s a sign you are no longer a spring chicken. Someday, and that day is coming fast, even the cars on sale today will be considered classic and go for ridiculous prices on Bring A Trailer. What car are you willing to park for the next 25 years, only running once a week to keep the engine clean, in the hopes of making some extra dough?

Toyota Unveils The Sixth Generation 4Runner

For me it’s the incredible flagship sedan of the Genesis brand, the G90. It’s ridiculously good looking, unique in both automaker and design, and sells in low enough volume that you’d be a… whatever the 2024 equivalent of a Radwood hero would be. (We have Litwood for the early 2000s cars… maybe we’re in the Slaywood era?) The factory wheels alone on this thing will make it a showstopper in the future. The only real challenge is parking it and keeping the miles to acceptable Bring A Trailer levels.

So what about you? The Toyota 4Runner looks like a future classic worthy of the Bring A Trailer treatment. Maybe one of the recently murdered Dodge products in a garish color to sell to some future muscle head? Let us know in the comments below.
