What Car Has Aged Like A Fine Wine?

We recently asked you all what cars you thought have aged like milk. Well, that’s a little too negative for my liking (please ignore my post history), so I’ve decided to ask you fine folks the exact opposite question.

According to Bob: Why the AMG C63 Hybrid Is So Goddamn Cool

I want to know what car you feel has aged like a fine wine. A car that maybe didn’t look so hot when it came out, but it got really good looking as more time went on. I guess it doesn’t have to exactly be a car that was thought of as ugly. All I’m asking is what cars have gotten better with age?

As always, I’ve got a couple of examples for you fine people. In terms of cars that didn’t originally look good, I’m going with the E60 BMW M5. People famously didn’t like its looks when it came out, pointing to how much it deviated from its predecessor, the E39 M5. Now though, it looks absolutely fabulous. It’s a design that was well ahead of its time, and you can tell that because it still looks contemporary.

Now, if we look at cars that were good-looking when they came out and only got better over time, I’m going to go with the W222 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. That car looked fabulous when it hit production in 2013, and it has only gotten better since then. By no means do I think the S-Class that replaced it is a bad-looking car, but it lacks the understated elegance the W222 brought to the table.
