The new Porsche Macan T is a sharper-handling variant of the base-engine Macan. It slots between the entry-level model and the Macan S in the lineup.

The Macan T is distinguished outside by Agate Grey Metallic accents and rolls on 20-inch wheels borrowed from the Macan S.
Under the hood, the turbocharged 2.0-liter four now makes 261 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
Power is fed to all four wheels via a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Porsche says the Macan T can sprint to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds. But we previously tested another Macan with this same engine and got a 60-mph time of 5.0 seconds, and we’d expect the same here.
The Macan T also comes standard with several of the model’s available chassis-enhancement features, including the Sport Chrono Package, launch control, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).
The interior features Soft-Tex synthetic seat inserts and a microsuede-wrapped steering wheel.
The steering wheel incorporates a drive-mode dial; at the center is a sport-response button.
Pricing for the Macan T is expected to start around $63,000.
The Macan T arrives in showrooms later this year.
