The 2022 model’s 3.3-liter V-6 and 5.0-liter V-8 have been replaced by a turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 that can be had with an electric supercharger. Standard output is 375 horsepower, rising to 409 horses for supercharged versions.
Power doors are a feature more common to Rolls-Royces (and some Teslas).
The optional audio system augments its 1400-watt amplifier with a separate 300-watt amp dedicated to 3-D sound rendering. As in, this system can make it sound like you’re in Boston’s Symphony Hall.
The G90’s “mood curator” pipes in scents to suit your intended vibe—which might be “Abercrombie store, 2006.”
The G90’s fuel economy isn’t great, but the supercharged model’s 20-mpg EPA combined rating does at least improve on the old AWD V-8 model’s 18 mpg.
Interior materials—leather, wood, metal, carbon fiber—are all extremely fine.
The rear seating is quite spacious and offers heating, vented, and massage functions.
All-wheel drive is now standard, and the eight-speed automatic’s smooth shifts nearly approximate an electric car’s single ratio.
The supercharged model costs $99,795, which still qualifies as an excellent value, given the G90’s quality and equipment.
The G90 can use your phone as a key. But unlike the GV60, you can’t unlock it with facial recognition.
