Aston Martin dramatically turns up the wick on its recently introduced DBX SUV with a sharper and far more powerful 707 model.

The DBX 707 is new for 2023 and is sold alongside the standard DBX.
The DBX 707 extracts 697 horsepower (or 707 PS) from the same AMG-sourced twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 that makes 542 horsepower in the base car.
Along with a shorter final-drive ratio, the 707 also upgrades the regular car’s nine-speed automatic transmission by replacing its torque converter with a wet clutch pack.
Aston Martin quotes a 60-mph time of 3.1 seconds for the 707, along with a 7.4-second dash to 100 mph. Top speed is a claimed 193 mph.
Carbon-ceramic brakes are exclusive to the 707, and their calipers are offered in a range of colors beyond the standard black.
To help feed air to the more muscular engine, the DBX 707 has a significantly larger grille, and the lower front fascia has larger air intakes.
Additional aero elements include a front splitter, a larger rear diffuser, deflectors at the front of the wheel openings, rear fender vents, and a reshaped roof spoiler.
The 707 also brings tweaks to the DBX’s height-adjustable air springs, adaptive dampers, torque-vectoring rear differential, and 48-volt anti-roll system.
Pricing for the DBX 707 starts at $239,086—some $50,000 more than the regular DBX. Aston Martin expects the more powerful variant to make up the majority of sales.
The DBX 707 features more aggressive, but not confining, sport seats.
