The Bentayga S is denoted by its black exterior elements including the grille and side mirrors. It also rides on special 22-inch wheels.
Under the hood, the twin-turbocharged V-8 is unchanged, making the same 542 horsepower and 568 pound-feet as in other Bentaygas.
The Bentayga S rockets to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, accompanied by thunder from the standard Sport exhaust.
The air suspension includes a Sport mode that lowers the ride height.
The Bentayga interior feels suitably special. We were particularly enamored of the 20-speaker, 1920-watt Naim audio system (an $8970 option).
The S interior includes two-tone seating surfaces that combine leather and microsuede.
Rear-seat space is a bit lacking, however, given the Bentayga’s grand proportions.
Pricing for the Bentayga S starts at $222,525. Our test example rang in at $269,865.
