The Hero Contractor: Being a Contender and Not a Pretender

The Hero Contractor: Being a Contender and Not a Pretender

Who is this person?

Who Is This Person?

Am I getting so old that I have my mind thinking about George Washington while giving a speech and telling the audience about Abraham Lincoln? That is what happened yesterday when others told me I killed the title speech but got old George and Abe reversed.

Wow. Have to do better.

This is what I wrote about restoration contractors helping others and why we should be grateful for restoration contractors: 1

Our firm does represent contractors. We are not one of those mill law firms that teaches gamesmanship to contractors …

Contractors are a core group that help restore our communities after catastrophes. Those contractors that come from far away communities and do quality work just as they do in their own communities are very important because there is no way local contractors can do all the work demanded following a large scale catastrophe. Professional restoration contractors that build with quality methods, materials, and pursuant to all local building codes are not the enemy and should be congratulated for their entrepreneurialism and willingness to work a long way from friends and families.

It is not funny that every entity, whether policyholder, public adjuster, or restoration contractor, is impugned with being a fraud and asking for too much after a loss by every insurance company attorney and others on social media. These insurance company vendors prey and depend upon putting all into a wide net, regardless of whether there is guilt or not.

Are Steve Badger and other insurance law firms showing up, saying they will help policyholders, holding informative meetings, and giving contributions to the community after a disaster? Hell no. They do not want to help policyholders—Steve, prove me wrong? And Steve Badger is the best for what the insurance company attorney bar has to offer as being fair!

How fair is that—regardless of whether you favor Washington or Lincoln in the final analysis?

Thought For The Day

Every man is said to have his peculiar ambition. Whether it be true or not, I can say for one that I have no other so great as that of being truly esteemed of my fellow men.
