In Tesla’s earnings report on Wednesday, it showed off some photos of the truck’s production line.

For years, we the public barely knew what was going on with Tesla’s Cybertruck. Now it’s almost here.

Last week, Tesla built its first Cybertruck at its Texas Gigafactory. And on Wednesday, Elon Musk’s carmaker reported second-quarter earnings and showed off some photos of the futuristic truck’s production line. The photos show a modern factory with lots of manufacturing robots.

When Tesla first showed the electric pickup to the world in November 2019, it announced plans to start building it two years later. Now Tesla says the first customer trucks will be delivered later this year.

Tesla said on Wednesday that Cybertruck production was in the “tooling” phase, meaning the company is still outfitting the production line with manufacturing equipment. Tesla also noted it’s testing the truck for “final certification and validation.”
