Tesla Cybertruck Ambulance Lets You Die Of Embarrassment Instead Of Your Injuries
Needing to call an ambulance because you’ve been hurt is never ideal, but having that ambulance be a Tesla Cybertruck is just adding insult to injury. Well, unfortunately for some folks in Lakewood, New Jersey, that hellish idea is now a reality.
Tesla’s Cybertruck Has Finally Arrived
This Cybertruck has been wrapped in a red, white a blue livery with a siren on top and text in both English and Hebrew denoting it’s an emergency vehicle. It’s being used by the Hatzulas Nefashos ambulance service in Lakewood, a town about 70 miles south of New York City. The rear quarter pane indicates the Cybertruck was “donated in memory of Kedoshim killed on October 7th.”
A TikTok video posted by user Shita Hakdosha shows the Cybertruck driving through a Lakewood neighborhood with its lights and sirens blaring. The video has garnered nearly 350,000 views and 26,000 likes.
For those who don’t know, Hatzulas Nefashos is a Jewish volunteer emergency medical service organization. There are dozens of different teams around the world, and they give medical services to patients regardless of religion. Hatzalah, the biggest such organization in New York – loosely translates to “Company of Rescuers.” Areas with large Jewish populations, like Lakewood, will often have these services.
I suppose there are worse things you can do with a Tesla Cybertruck, so it seems like a good idea to use it to actually try to help people. I wonder how Tesla CEO Elon Musk would feel about his prized product being used by Jews to help other Jews in need.
