State DMV Millard Office Closes to Walk-In Traffic

Following the announcement yesterday that the Douglas County Treasurer’s office will no longer be accepting walk-in traffic beginning March 18th, the State DMV office co-located with the County Treasurer at 5730 S 144th Street in Omaha will also follow suit. All drive test appointments for this location have been cancelled. Affected customers have been contacted directly about these cancellations. Impacted customers are asked to reschedule their drive test at one of the other Omaha/Bellevue area State DMV locations. Drive test appointments can be scheduled at dmv.nebraska.gov.

“I am asking our customers for their understanding and patience as we adapt to this rapidly changing situation,” said Rhonda Lahm, Director of the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles. “I would encourage all of our customers to take advantage of the online services available on our website, where possible. Most people are able to renew their license online and utilizing these services would help reduce the amount of foot traffic in our offices.”

The Nebraska DMV has dozens of services available online. Customers are able to update their address, renew or replace their driver’s license or state identification card, and renew their vehicle registration, among many other services. A full list of services is available at dmv.nebraska.gov/services.
