Shocker! Amazon & Hyundai Are Giving Away a Hyundai Ioniq 5

Hyundai and Amazon are teaming up to give one lucky sweepstakes winner a brand-new 2023 Ioniq 5 valued up to $56,500. This is none other than the vehicle Car and Driver recently named our 2022 EV of the Year.

You don’t have to buy anything. Simply head over to amazon.com/autosweepstakes and complete and submit the entry form. The contest is on now and runs through 11:59:59 p.m. PST on December 31, 2022.

With its angular countenance and sleek profile, the Ioniq 5 is one of the most buzzed-about EVs of the year. Its confident stance and unapologetically modern interior place it a touch above most other major automakers’ EVs.

In their initial review upon its release, C/D’s Dan Edmunds and Joe Lorio said the Ioniq 5 “reigns supreme compared to all of its competition,” noting its 697-volt battery pack and 350-kW DC fast-charging capability have “no equal” outside of far more expensive EVs.

No purchase is necessary to win, but there are a few significant catches. Only one entry is allowed per person; multiple individual entries—even multiple entries by a single individual via separate Amazon accounts or email addresses—will be disqualified.

The winner of the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 must be a legal resident of the United States and at least 18 years of age at the time of entry, plus have a valid U.S. driver’s license. And of course, entrants must have an Amazon account to be eligible.

The winner will be selected by Hyundai—not Amazon—in a random drawing to be held on or about January 10, 2023. They will be notified by Hyundai via phone or email within three days of the drawing and will give that lucky person about 72 hours to respond—or the next name will be drawn. So stick by the phone and turn on those email notifications because if you miss your chance, it’ll be gone before you even knew it existed.
