RRJ Insurance Group Limited o/a KRGinsure Acquires Jones-Dooley Insurance Brokers Ltd.
TORONTO, ON, JULY 30, 2024/insPRESS/ – We are delighted to announce the addition of Jones-Dooley Insurance Brokers Ltd. to the KRGinsure family, effective July 1, 2024. In business since 1985, Jones-Dooley has been a recognized name in Ajax and surrounding communities. Through the years, Marsha’s life’s focus has been on her family and her brokerage. Due to many changes in the insurance industry, the ever-growing need for more complex software applications, technical needs, cyber protection and evolving government regulation, Marsha began exploring the option of combining Jones-Dooley Insurance with a larger insurance broker to provide more stability, access to more markets and professional support for their clients.
With that in mind, Marsha chose to merge their brokerage with RRJ Insurance Group Limited o/a KRGinsure. The ownership and management of KRGinsure are very reflective of her beginnings, with shared values of customer service. Marsha wants clients to have the same sense of personal service with real people answering the phone, not a call centre environment.

Marsha Jones-Dooley, CIP, CAIB, RIB(Ont), EPC
Marsha, a 40+ year veteran in the insurance industry, will continue to provide leadership and guidance and be an integral part of the transition phase with KRGinsure. Through the years Marsha has been recognized by the insurance industry with Elite Broker status, three times, and ‘Woman of Influence’. For a number of years the office has been recognized by ‘Three Best’ and for decades, in many categories, by ‘Readers’ Choice awards.
Marsha has always worked in the best interest of her clients without being influenced by company incentives. She has been a Rotarian for over 18 years and Rotary President. Marsha has chaired the local BIA and a board member for decades.
Peter Dooley, B.Sc. (Hons), CIP, RIB(Ont.)
Peter began working in the insurance industry part-time in 2004 & then full-time in 2008 after he graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He obtained his CIP designation in 2017. Peter is excited to join the KRGinsure team and looks forward to the next chapter of his insurance career.
James P. Dooley, B.A. (Hons), RIB(Ont)
Commissioner of Oaths
James obtained his RIBO license in 2006 while attending UOIT earning his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Justice Studies. In 2011, James became a licensed paralegal and worked with a firm in London, Ontario, primarily representing commercial drivers and operators, protecting their CVOR records. After three years of appearing in Provincial Offences Courtrooms across Ontario, James returned to the insurance business, bringing his added knowledge and experience. In addition to re-obtaining his RIBO license, James is currently two credits away from the CIP designation. Thanks to James’ legal studies and background, the Law Society of Upper Canada granted him the legal status of commissioner of oaths—providing an added service to our clients.
