Road Raging Woman Forgets To Put Her Car In Park

One woman who decided to do a little road rage learned that life comes at you really fast when she forgot to put her Hyundai Sonata in park before getting out of the car to yell at the guy in an SUV she was raging against. As you might expect, her car then rolls forwards and hits another car, injuring her in the process.

It’s not exactly clear how these two people ended up in the situation. The 40-ish-second video, posted by TMZ, shows the woman opening her car door to yell at the guy in the SUV. While slurring her words, she accuses him of “spinning and swerving” as well as being a “fucking dick” driver. The SUV driver yells back, accusing her of being “drunk as fuck” and saying she was the one who was swerving. It’s not possible to know who started this whole thing.

At that point, she gets out of the car and begins to step up to the SUV’s open passenger window. Before she can get a sentence out, her Sonata begins to roll away. Folks, this is why you put your car in park before yelling at other motorists. Anyway, as the car rolls away, she attempts to stick her right leg in the footwell to hit the brakes, but it doesn’t happen. The sedan clips the right rear end of a Toyota Sequoia in front of her and actually pins her leg between the doorframe and the door itself. Ouch.

Luckily for her, she didn’t seem too badly injured. That’s mighty impressive, because at first glance I figured she would have broken a leg. Regardless, the video cuts and we then see her talking to the Sequoia driver with her car now in park. I should also mention that all of this happened with “an 82-year-old man” in the car with her.
