This is the first blog in a series on our Fall ’22 Release. Over the next few months, we will continue to spotlight how Majesco is helping insurers achieve relentless innovation and meet the ever-changing market needs with an outside in approach.

Changing technology, ecosystem integrations, microservice architectures, and rate of change are increasing the complexity of operating end-to-end enterprise systems. Much like the complexities of the human body, where annual checkups and other specialized test help provide us with early warning so we can take corrective actions and potentially prevent serious diseases – we have created a scanning tool that can automatically be conducted to ensure that our mission-critical enterprise systems stay healthy and reliable for all Majesco customers.

What gets measured, gets managed

Earlier this month, in our Fall ’22 Release, we introduced Majesco HealthCheck, a data-driven scan of the well-being of Majesco Platforms. This new capability provides insights and recommendations for understanding and improving the health of our customers’ Majesco environments during the implementation and product support stages.

There are many horizontal tools available in the market today that provide health data and scans, but each one is disjointed and often doesn’t tie to the root cause of the problem which makes it difficult to take actionable corrective measures. With Majesco HealthCheck, our goal was to provide key quantitative measures that run the overall health score of upgradeability, manageability, user experience, performance, and security of Majesco environments and provide the underlying details with recommendations to improve these scores for better reliability and scalability in the long-term.

We built an extensive list of scans using the best practices developed over 20+ years in implementing Majesco products. Within each of these categories several checks are conducted to ensure that the configurations or modifications of the out of the box Majesco products, while functionally accurate, meets our best practices – ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable operations and lowering the total cost of ownership.

Much like how we track our vitals through wearables and periodically through our medical checkups, this capability delivers a lot of value when integrated in the SDLC process to catch issues before they are deployed into production to avoid costly mistakes.
