While he appeared in a number of music videos in the late 1900s, actor Michael Jordan had to wait until 1996 to get his big break as the basketball-playing star of Warner Bros.’ Space Jam. Despite that film raking in an estimated $250 million, Jordan never became an A-list actor and only acted sporadically after that. And yet, a 1991 BMW 8 Series that the actor used to own is already going for big money over at Bring a Trailer.

To be fair, the 1991 BMW 850i in question appears to be in incredible condition despite its age. Over the last 33 years, it’s only been driven 30,000 miles and, at least from the photos provided, you’d have no idea this particular car wasn’t showroom-fresh. Plastics get brittle with age, so it’s possible that some things may have to be replaced despite the low mileage, but good luck finding a cleaner 850i anywhere else.

And while you could get the E31 with a V8 and an automatic, Jordan made the right decision and went with the much more desirable 5.0-liter V12 and six-speed manual transmission options. With 17-inch multi-piece AC Schnitzer wheels and Mauritius Blue Metallic paint and a light parchment leather interior, this particular 8 Series is absolutely gorgeous.

As previously mentioned even though it’s being auctioned off, Jordan’s 8 Series isn’t going to be cheap. There are still five days left on the auction, and this highest bid is already over $60,000. Even with so few miles and such a clean appearance, that’s a whole lot of money for an E31 850i, and it’s safe to assume the final price will be quite a bit higher. Then again, if you’re a wealthy Space Jam fan, is there any better car you could buy?
