Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg loves a sidequest and has pretty decent taste in cars given his daily driver is a Cadillac CT5-V. But when you are a family man, you also need a family-oriented car. When his wife asked for a minivan, Zuck had West Coast Customs pimp a Cayenne Turbo with some sliding doors to make a one-of-a-kind Porsche.
2024 Porsche Cayenne S Review : Worthy Of The High Price Tag?
Here at Jalopnik, we have been recommending that you just “buy the damn minivan” for almost a decade. While the minivan market isn’t as robust as it used to be, there are still some solid vans available. But if you are Zuck with Meta-money you can’t just be rocking Sienna or Odyssey. Instead, he had West Coast Customs take a Cayenne Turbo GT and transform it into a minivan complete with sliding doors.
Unfortunately, we don’t get to see much in the way of any other modifications. I would be curious if the Cayenne Turbo GT van has a leveling suspension similar to my wife’s wheelchair adaptive van that helps with easier entry and exit. While I do spot some captain’s chairs in the middle, I can’t tell if there are still only two rows of seats as a lack of a third row would be a bit of a letdown. Perhaps Zuck or West Coast Customs will release more details of this build.
Naturally, Zuck had to pair the Cayenne van with a 911 GT3 Touring, because you need to be able to Porsche while you Porsche, though it would have been cooler to select a more creative color. Money might not be able to buy you happiness, but enough money can build you a pretty sweet van that can likely throw down a better lap time than most cars in the school pickup line.
