Florida Man With 'All Gas, No Brakes' Tattoo Arrested After Losing Control Of Car

A man and woman in Polk County, Florida were arrested early Monday morning after running from police and crashing their car, ClickOrlando reports. Timothy Allen Hogue and Rebecca Kozub are suspects in a string of car burglaries and were spotted in a small residential neighborhood trying to break into several cars at about 3:30 a.m.

Here’s A Cheap Way To Keep Track Of Your Bike

“After the suspect’s white 2006 Cadillac CTS was spotted by a deputy, a traffic stop was attempted, but the Cadillac sped away into the neighborhood. The deputy did not pursue due to there being only one way in and out of the subdivision,” the Polk County sheriff’s office said in a statement.

Video of the incident shows the CTS taking off at a high rate of speed before crashing into a parked car. The heavily damaged car quickly came to a stop, and officers pulled both suspects from the wreck. Hogue allegedly admitted that they had committed the burglaries but blamed Kozub, claiming that they were her idea. Hogue also reportedly said he drove off when he saw the officers because he “just freaked out.” His charges include burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, felony petit theft and conspiracy to commit burglary.

“Fleeing from a law enforcement traffic stop demonstrates very poor decision making, but to do it in a small, residential neighborhood at a high rate of speed is a terrible idea, and dangerous,” Sheriff Grady Judd said in a statement. “It’s amazing and fortunate that nobody innocent was hurt or killed. They could have very easily crashed into a house. It should not come as a surprise that the driver has a tattoo on his neck that says, ‘All gas, no brakes.’”

Yes, you read that right. The Florida Man who crashed into a parked car while fleeing the cops had a tattoo that says, “All gas, no brakes.” And not just somewhere on his body, either. On his neck. We’re glad he didn’t hurt anyone else, but man, what a Florida story.
