An allegedly drunk 17-year-old girl crashed her Nissan Altima into the Massachusetts State Police barracks in Cheshire, MA on the evening of December 17. Talk about Big Altima Energy.

Massachusetts State Police posted on Facebook that the teen was driving south on Route 9 when she ran off the road and smashed into the building. Her 2000 Nissan Altima blasted through a brick wall into a kitchen area. This is not something I would recommend doing. The driver and her 17-year-old passenger, both Pittsfield, MA natives, were taken to Berkshire Medical Center with minor injuries, according to police. Neither of them have been identified since they’re both minors. No one else was injured.

After the hospital visit, police brought the drunk teen back to the now-slightly-more-open-concept barracks where she was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and marked lane violations. She was later released on $40 bail (yes, you read that right), and she is expected to be arraigned on December 19 in Pittsfield District Court, police say.

Emergency repairs were made to the building, but it will take a bit more to get the barracks back 100 percent again.

I don’t know about you folks, but I knew it would involve a Nissan Altima before I even read this story. There was just no way it couldn’t have. This thing has “Altima” written on it from top to bottom.
