Deland, Gibson Insurance Acquires Atchue Insurance
Expands Agency’s Presence in Worcester and Surrounding Communities
Deland, Gibson Insurance Associates is expanding its geographic footprint in Massachusetts once again. The leading Insurance and Risk Management consultant based in Wellesley Hills, MA, announced its acquisition of Worcester-based Atchue Insurance Agency. The transaction took place on June 12th, 2024 and marks the second agency acquisition for the agency this year.

Founded by Earl V. Atchue, Jr. in 1982, Atchue Insurance Agency has grown from a home-based operation to a well-established firm, offering a wide range of insurance services with a strong commitment to personal service.
To ensure continuity among the Atchue customers and team, the next generation of leadership has been promoted from within the family, with A.J. (Andrew J.) as Managing Director.
This alliance will bring increased opportunities and resources for the Atchue Insurance team and clientele while expanding Deland, Gibson’s presence in Worcester and surrounding communities.
