Convicted Felon Thinks Electric Planes Run On Solar Power

President Biden’s dismal debate performance June 27 briefly overshadowed the fact that Donald Trump still has sour gummy worms for brains. Despite lying the whole debate, Trump then went and claimed victory at a rally in Chesapeake, Virginia the following day and further showed he has no idea what the hell he’s talking about.

During the rally, Trump went off on one of his tangents, speaking against electric vehicles like he’s done before. That’s when the word vomit flew from his mouth (emphasis mine).
“All they know is electric. They want electric army tanks. They want electric planes. What happens if the sun isn’t shining while you’re up in the air?”
To reiterate: this man believes that if the sun stops shining on electric planes, they’ll lose power. Thankfully, many people online cooked his ass. “Electricity, a technology that famously does not work in the dark,” read one tweet. “Dumb as a box of rocks,” read another. Mind you, this isn’t Trump’s first go-round with not knowing how anything works. Back in 2019 he spewed a bunch of nonsense about vehicle safety and fuel economy that was wrong. In a single weekend in late ’22 he continuously dished out lies regarding EVs. Just to name a couple.
Expect to hear even more outlandish lies as we get closer to election day.
