Chrysler's Airflow Concept Looks Sharp in Black and Copper Attire

Chrysler’s electric Airflow concept showed off a new black-and-copper look at today’s New York auto show.
The black paint and high-gloss copper accents offer a stark visual contrast to the bright white Airflow concept we saw back in January.Inside, the concept showed a similar look with two-tone white and black upholstery and copper-colored infotainment graphics.

Although it’s still a few years away from production, Chrysler is showing a restyled version of its Airflow concept vehicle at the 2022 New York auto show. The dark-hued Airflow Graphite concept is rendered in Galaxy Black paint with Cyprus Copper accents.

Large 22-inch wheels sport the copper coloring, as does the SUV’s exterior trim. The interior matches with a two-tone black and white upholstery scheme, while the copper color makes an appearance on graphics on the large infotainment display.

Chrysler says the Airflow will be the first all-electric Chrysler, and we’re expecting it to go on sale for the 2025 model year. Originally on display at the CES technology show in January 2022, the Airflow is said to offer an electric driving range of up to 400 miles, Level 3 autonomous driving capability, and a customizable digital dashboard that allows for over-the-air updates.

More Chrysler EVs will follow the Airflow into production, and the brand is said to be planning to launch a full lineup of EVs by 2028.
