Arbella Insurance Foundation Appoints Robin Jones as its new Executive Director

The Arbella Insurance Foundation (“Foundation”) today announced that Robin Jones has been appointed by Arbella Insurance Group President and CEO, John Donohue, and the Board of Directors, to be its new Executive Director effective March 1. Jones will succeed the Foundation’s current president, Beverly Tangvik who will retire on March 31.

Jones has 18 years of consulting experience and has led a thriving independent consulting practice providing advisory and strategy services to a mix of nonprofit organizations and funders. She has a diverse and extensive experience as a consultant, staff member and Director on many nonprofit Boards, and her background in journalism has contributed to her expertise in communications and fundraising strategies. Jones has been instrumental in helping organizations tell their unique stories and position themselves as thought leaders to various stakeholders and influencers. She has also served as the director of marketing, communications and public affairs for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and as a writer and patient communications director for the nationally renowned Women’s Health Study.

I also want to thank Beverly Tangvik for her tireless commitment, leadership and contributions that will leave a lasting legacy on our organization. During her tenure as the President of the Foundation, she has overseen millions of dollars in charitable donations to several hundred different charitable organizations annually and her impact on the culture of the Foundation cannot be understated. I also look forward to partnering with Robin Jones in her role as Executive Director and I know that her passion for giving back will be an asset to our Foundation.”

Jones has her B.A. degree in Journalism from Northeastern University.
