The rumors are true! Amazon Prime Day 2024 is nearly upon us. Although the official dates of the sale have yet to be revealed, Amazon has confirmed that this year’s summer Prime Day will be happening in July once again. Believe it or not, this upcoming event is actually Amazon’s 10th Prime Day event (if you include the smaller off-shoots like Prime Big Deal Days) so because of the nice round number, this July sale has a bit of extra cachet behind it. If this is your first year being tapped into the Prime Day madness and you’re wondering what all the hype is about, it’s pretty simple. Think of Prime Day as a Black Friday alternative, but in the summer. During the event you’ll find huge deals on things like tech, automotive accessories, TVs, home and garden supplies, outdoor grills, generators and much more. As you might expect for a Prime Day, the sale caters mostly to Amazon Prime members, but don’t fret if you haven’t taken the plunge into a subscription yet, there are almost always great deals to be had around this event for members and non-members alike. When is Amazon Prime Day 2024?
The official dates are still a secret, but Amazon has revealed that Prime Day will be happening in July again this year, just like last year. Amazon’s cheeky use of the word “dates” in its official announcement implies that, like last year, the sale this year will be a multi-day event. Even if you’re not an Amazon shopper, you can probably expect most of your favorite retailers like REI, Walmart and more to be featuring competing sales around this time period as well, all of which we’ll be covering here at Autoblog.
