Acrisure Unveils New New England Region as North America Rebrand Nears Completion

Rebranding Under The Acrisure Name

In a major statement about its intentions in our region, national insurance brokerage Acrisure has announced the formation of its New England Region which will see a consolidation of its business operations in the six New England states.

Encompassing its businesses in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, Acrisure’s new New England presence includes 27 office locations, with nearly 400 employees serving over 57,000 customers. The Company also operates a key office in Boston’s Back Bay, home to colleagues working in Innovation, Marketing and Cyber Services.

Acrisure Partner Paul Plunkett will serve as Managing Partner of the New England Region.

A native of Vermont, Mr. Plunkett boasts more than four decades of industry experience in commercial and personal insurance solutions.

As part of its decision to establish a separate New England region, the brokerage firm noted that the dynamics of the economy here. According to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, noted the company, New England is experiencing its lowest unemployment rate since 2000, falling below 3% in October 2023. This is being driven in part by a surge in “nonfarming” sector growth such as education and health services. This, along with other micro and macroeconomic factors, the company says, makes the region a dynamic environment in which to focus on growth.

In the last nine years, Acrisure has grown in revenue from $38 million to $4.4 billion and today employs 17,000 colleagues in more than 20 countries.
