She joined Plymouth Rock in 2018, from The Hartford, where she held the position of Senior Vice President with responsibility for both their Agency and Direct channels personal insurance businesses. Prior to that, Mary invested 15 years of her career in high-net-worth personal lines, beginning her tenure at Chubb as an actuarial trainee and expanding to roles of increasing responsibility; most recently as President of their Private Risk Services division. Mary received her bachelor’s degrees in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Rutgers University. As a coach of youth sports, ambitious professionals, and entrepreneurs alike, Mary loves developing talent, improving technique, and unleashing the power of strong teams; individually and together.

The Awards Ceremony in photos

Established in 2002 by the Richard Simches Fund, the Insurance Professional of the Year Award is presented each year by The Insurance Library Association of Boston to “…a person who demonstrates leadership and exemplifies those qualities that engender understanding of and respect for the insurance industry.”  The selection process is conducted by a cross-section of the insurance industry and as such carries with it that added significance.

For those who were unable to attend, once again Agency Checklists is providing a slideshow of some of the many memorably moments from this year’s event. AS always, thank you to the Insurance Library and its photographer Robert Castagna for providing us with such great photos. Enjoy…
