2024 Volkswagen ID.Aero

Overview

Following the ID.4 SUV and ID.Buzz minivan to market will be Volkswagen’s ID.Aero, a mid-size electric family four-door similar in size to the Passat sedan. As the name implies, the ID.Aero is designed to be as aerodynamic as possible but it still looks quite stylish from what we can see in the photos. We expect to see both front- and all-wheel drive electric powertrains available when the ID.Aero goes on sale and driving range should be at least as much as the ID.4, which is rated for up to 275 miles per charge. Volkswagen hasn’t revealed any details or images of the ID.Aero’s interior, but we expect it to offer similar amenities as the other two ID models.

What’s New for 2024?

The ID.Aero will be an all-new model for Volkswagen when it goes on sale, likely for the 2024 model year. So far, we’ve only seen images of the concept vehicle, but the production version is expected to bow sometime in 2023.
