Worth getting an attorney? UT/USA

Hello reddit, sorry long post but DEFINITELY appreciated for your time. Me and my wife were given the news that her pregnancy has become a high risk. We shall be expecting a baby boy with myelomeningocele Spina bifida. Luckily for us we live an hour away from a hospital that has the in utero repair surgery, and my wife quickly agreed as it gave our unborn child a better quality of life. Well now the not fun part. It has becomea true hell with my insurance, and the hospital with Billing.(Money isn’t an issue as of now) My max out of pocket is 10g for the family. I’m literally expecting 15g due to loads of BS. Main things that are happening: 1- my insurance is seriously trying to deny every single claim, or find a way that the pre-authorizations didn’t include or meet medical necessity. I also have 2 large bills from on provider insurance is claiming “out of network” even though they have everything proving it’s In network. 2- to qualify for the surgery, my wife had to do a DNA test. Hospital made it aware that our insurance may not cover it and let us know cash pay W/ discount is 3g. Well after the surgery, as my wife was recovering in they hospital they let us know it was covered. Cool right. WRONG apparently only one part of it was and now we owe more than 4g and NONE of it go towards our deductible or Max out of pocket. Since it “Wasn’t all approved”. 3 – I’m scared of my child’s future (I’m hoping to get him on CHIP but looking grim), it will practically be all medical, and I really don’t have the time to fight my insurance and this hospital anymore.

Will it be worth getting an attorney? I don’t plan on getting Money from this or paying less, I just hope it proves I’m not taking there BS. And helps with future issues.
