Worried about ssn after calling for health insurance

I’m sorry if this is In the wrong category but I’m freaking out right now. So I was looking up health insurance plans due to mine through the state being up next month and I put in my basic information and all of that and it said they would call to figure out my quote and all that. So I got a call, got transferred 2 times (asked d the same question both times) and finally got to talking with a guy. I can’t remember the first part but before I gave my SSN I looked to see if the website was trusted and it said it was so I went ahead with this and told him. And after all the basic questions were done he said he sent me a link to click on either through my number or my email, email thought it was spam and honestly I was still sceptical through all of this based on how much he emphasized that he had the ability to see all the plans in the state. I was like ok and I went to it. He had me check a box and another one with a one time fee of 125$ as he previously stated would be charged if I was approved however I’m not an idiot and locked my card before hand just to be on the safe side and when I went to hit submit it said card issuer denied the charge meaning it was going to pull it out immediately. Now mind you I’m usually very careful like I actually read the terms and conditions but I just skimmed them this time. After that I was more skeptical and I said that I think I’m going to try another time when I can talk it over with my mom and he kept asking if I had another card or a family member who could help me, and I do but I wasn’t about to let him know that, so I said I was just gonna go and wait and he kept saying but this offer application is closing today basically I said that I’ll just have to wait because I don’t have the money rn I do but its going towards rent and in the middle of that he hung up so is this a scam? Now mind you the plan was like the perfect plan, way too good for 250$ per month, can go anywhere covers everything except inpatient psychiatric, and rehab for substance abuse. And no deductible what so ever. Am I missing out or was this a scam and should I put an alert on my SSN? I think I realized too late. 563 202 7407 was the number I was called by, if anyone can find anything on it please let me know
