Will insurance cover our NIPS test?

I have NO idea what any of this means. Not sure if im just dumb or what. My wife is currently 13 weeks pregnant with 1 baby. Shes looking to have a NIPS test to test for defects with our baby. Can anyone help me make sense of any of this? TIA

“COVERAGE CRITERIA Non-invasive Prenatal Screening (NIPS) for Chromosome 13, 18, 21, X and Y Aneuploidies

I. Noninvasive Prenatal Screening (NIPS) for 13, 18, 21, X and Y aneuploidy (81420, 81507, 0327U) may be considered medically necessary when:

A. The member has a singleton or twin pregnancy, AND

B. The member has NOT previously had cell-free DNA screening in the current pregnancy.

II. NIPS to predict twin zygosity (0060U) is considered investigational.

III. NIPS is considered investigational for all other indications, including the following:

A. For all other aneuploidies (other than trisomy 13, 18, and 21)

B. For multiple gestation pregnancies (triplets or higher)

C. NIPS performed simultaneously with maternal serum screening

D. Use on a singleton pregnancy with a known vanishing twin

E. For the sole purpose of fetal sex determination.”
