Will insurance cover mastectomy if I don’t have cancer but multiple family members have?

Although this is something I'm planning on asking my insurance provider, I wanted to see if anyone has had a similar experience going about having a mastectomy as a preventative measure (i.e. I don't have cancer). My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in her early 40s and has had a mastectomy and radiation/chemotherapy in the past, maybe ten years ago now. She has since been cancer free and has also received two negative BRCA tests, so she doesn't carry the gene that could pass it down to me. More recently, however, my sister (23 and also my triplet) found a lump in her breast and recently had a lumpectomy. This has really risen my concern about my own risk of breast cancer, especially since most of my aunts/cousins on my moms side have also had breast cancer. I'm trying to see if having a mastectomy is an option for me, although I'm 23 and my mom had a negative BRCA test. Is this something that insurance could cover? When I've researched it, it seems like the BRCA test is usually the indicator for most insurance companies, but due to the high rate in my family despite not carrying the gene, is it a possibility? I'm sort of just trying to get a feel for other people's ideas/experiences so any feedback is appreciated!
