Wife Pregnant – Informed That She Has No Maternity Coverage

My wife and I are each self employed. I have coverage through the ACA plans and, despite my encouragement, my wife has always refused to sign up for a plan through Healthcare.gov as she's said that it doesn't save her any money, so why would she use it.

She signed up for a plan through United Healthcare in 2021 and has maintained that same plan and she, presumably, assumed that pregnancy was covered under the plan. She is now 13 weeks pregnant and got a call from her OBGYN's office telling her that her plan doesn't cover maternity.

I'm fairly miffed about it given my wife's insistence on doing her own thing regarding her health insurance and now it could potentially cost us tens of thousands of dollars.

The only thing I can think of to get her coverage would be to have my LLC hire her and reimburse her under the QSEHRA option, which would trigger a special enrollment period so that she could get coverage that would apply through the rest of her pregnancy.

Are there other options that I'm not thinking of and, if so, what are they? Additionally, are there any potential pitfalls for having my LLC (a law office) hire my wife and offer reimbursement under the QSEHRA plan in order to trigger a Special Enrollment Period?
