Why is our monthly payment so high now? (Covered California/medi-cal)

Hello folks

We are a family of 4: me, my dad, mom, sister I am 22, my sister 24, my parents 49

Our household income went down from last year from 71k to 59k this year

This year we put in our household info to renew medical/covered california.

I normally have medi-cal but the eligibility letter from covered ca says i am no longer eligible for medi cal or covered ca or the advanced premium tax credit. And i got a medi cal termination letter in the mail.

this is fine since i can join my parents insurance since im under 26, and i will start a full time job whose insurance i can take in a few months.

My parents’ says they do not qualify for covered ca or medical or advanced premium tax credit

Their monthly premium bill they just got is extremely high at $711 when it was previously below $200 (probably because of the advanced premium tax credit)

My sister qualifies for medi cal

What i don’t understand is our household income actually decreased from last year. How did we lose the advanced premium tax credit? How did i lose medi-cal?

I am calling covered california when they open monday but can anyone give me a clue as to what happened?
