Which insurance should I get (HDHP vs Standard)?

Hi all. I was hoping to get suggestions for which insurance I should purchase.

My health needs:

I am 21 years old and relatively healthy. I'm a bit overweight, but not obese. I'm planning on working to lose some of my excess weight this year.

I typically see the doctor once a year for my annual checkup + bloodwork, and maybe 1-2x/year for urgent care. Last year I saw a specialist several times, but that care is pretty much completely over.

My options:

1

Standard (low deductible plan – $650 deductible): Price: $100/month Max Out of Pocket: $2400 Benefits: $25-$75 copay for most doctor visits; 20% co-insurance payment for most lab/imaging services

2 HDHP ($1500 or $3000 deductible)

Price per month: $50 or $35 Max Out of Pocket Limit: $3000 Benefits: 20% co-insurance for most doctor visits; 20% co-insurance for most lab/imaging services

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
