Which Employer Medical plan is better?

I am chaniyjobs and until now used my previous employer medical plan. Though the plan was a high deductible one, my then employer generously contributed ($2000 per year) to my HSA account. But my current employer only offers a single plan and no HSA or FSA. The plan is relatively low deductible of $750/$1500. The premium is $135 per biweekly paycheck. On the other hand my wife’s employer offers a ton of options. Going by an option with high deductible of $2500/$5000, with a per paycheck biweekly contribution of $85. The plan offers HSA but her employer doesn’t contribute anything. Previously I used to like HSA because of tax savings. But now since there is no employer contribution I need to pay upto $7000+ to get any tax savings options.

Im 29 and my wife is 27. Married 2 years ago. Thinking of planning kids after a year or so.

My wife thinks my current employer plan is hassle free and simple. But I’m not sure. I feel like I will be losing money on any HSA savings and also for the number of visits we do, I’m not sure if we need a low deductible right now. Any advise?
