Which BCBS plan is better for my prescription costs?

I (27F in TX) am in good health and usually only go to the doctor for annual exams, or if a visit is required to continue prescribing my medications.

I do, however, take several prescription medications on a daily basis, including two schedule II controlled medications.

I am trying to compare between two Blue across Blue Shield plans to identify which plan is most ideal for prescription costs: Blue Choice Silver PPOSM 401 S9N1CHC or Blue Choice Gold PPOSM 820 G652CHC

The Gold plan would cost more than double the amount of the Silver plan per pay period (about $92 vs. $42)

I’m happy to pay more for a plan that makes up the difference in out-of-pocket savings on my medications, but the language used to explain prescription coverage/costs in the plan information for each is extremely confusing.

One shows coinsurance %, the other shows copay in dollar amounts, and I can’t find straightforward uninsured pricing for each of my meds/doses online to calculate costs myself.

I have to select my plan by tomorrow, but the helpline is closed (it’s after hours) and I haven’t been able to find any information online that clears things up.

I don’t want to be locked into a crappy insurance plan for a whole year, or pay double the amount for a plan that doesn’t add enough benefit to make up for its own cost.

All I want to know is which plan will save me the most money overall.

If anyone is able to help, I’d greatly appreciate it.
