WATCHOUT SHADY / SCAM COMPANY
I just wanted you guys know that a shady health insurance. sometimes pretending to be your existing health insurance or in other cases I saw online claiming to be an affordable insurance company (their service never works ) I’ve been doing research through hundreds of reviews on different websites ( including yelp, better Business bureau, Reddit and trustpolit) The “Company” name is innovative partners LP not innovative partners LLC (Innovative partners LLC is an actual health insurance company that is not connected to innovative partners) They are located at 2234 N. Federal Highway PMB 2862 33431 Boca Raton United States ( This is from my owe research) My experience “I feel victim to this company. I was looking for my actual insurance company But ended up getting redirected to innovative partners LP they said that they were my current health insurance company and that I had a basic plan and they would not cover it ( it being a procedure I was suppose to have don’t the following day) and that I had to upgrade from a basic plan (which is not unheard of from what I understand from the adults around me) I gave them my first and last name and my “insurance ID for my real company I was actually signed to From there the person on the phone recited my old address and my mom’s old phone number (my mom’s old phone number because I’m freshly 20 ) and because they had all this information and said that they were my insurance company I didn’t see nothing wrong with them taking my card information over the phone (I know you’re not supposed to give card information over the phone but because everything above I was under the impression that everything was okay You usually hear about scam callers calling you but never you calling them) But long story short this is already too long I called my actual insurance company the following day and wanted some more clarification They said that they have no history of any phone calls from me since December of the last year From there I got off the phone with them Canceled my debit card disputed the charges And now I’m just waiting I have no idea if I gave him my social security number. And other people are also not sure if they also give them their social security (As of now I’m going to monitoring my social and I also have a free credit monitoring app And we’ll get LifeLock as an extra precaution in monitor and everything Please watch out and be safe guys
