Was told I’m eligible for Medicaid but I’m not sure I am?

I'm currently uninsured and looking to get insurance coverage, and didn't know how to estimate my income for 2024 as I'm unemployed (due to health issues) but looking to get a job soon….. I'm pretty limited in what kinds of jobs I can do due to health issues, and I have no idea how much I'd be making. So I spoke with someone from a place that helps people get insured in my state (MT if it matters), and she said I'd just put zero as my income and would be eligible for Medicaid and could update my income when I get a job. The thing is, I live with my mother (due to my health issues) and she makes more than the income limit for Medicaid. I told the person I talked to that and she said that if my mother isn't claiming me as a dependent on her taxes (she isn't) (I'm 26, if that matters), then I'm considered my own household and would qualify for Medicaid. Is this correct? I thought that for Medicaid, your household was counted as all the people you live with. Can somebody clarify this please? Thanks.
