Waiting on new insurance card because of category change?

Hello all. My GF 23F and disabled located in the U.S in Pennsylvania has recently had trouble getting prescriptions due to the fact that apparently her insurance card is now invalid and through no action of her own. After multiple calls to assistance offices in our county and her insurance provider we found out that the insurance that she is on has recently moved her to a new catgory called geisinger which is updated her age eligibility to 26.

She was not notified in mail, email or phone call about this catagory change. But due to this change it's made her card invalid and with out a valid card number as she has been explained she cannot get any help via assistance offices or really answers for that matter.

We are not sure when or if she will be getting a new card and until then all of her prescriptions won't be filled until insurance is sorted.

We are very much in the dark about alot of what's going on no one is providing ligit answers with out a valid insurance card number that she doesn't have anymore. Has this happened to anyone or could anyone shed some light on this?
